We always had this attitude of being such a small part in the grand scheme of things. We never entertained the idea that it matters that we’re here on this Earth, that what we do and who we encounter makes a difference. We used to have the attitude that the trash we were making really wasn’t that much or that if we recycled it wouldn’t make a huge difference. We were wrong. When we started recycling, we were AMAZED by how much post consumer product we were creating. Jess goes to their recycling center every 3 weeks or so and it takes her 5 or 6 trips to the car to pack it all in. She takes a garbage bag full of aluminum cans, 7-10 pounds of paper stuff like old mags, newspapers, mailers, junk mail, even paper that she’s shredded, cardboard materials, plastics, and glass (the good wine comes in glass bottles y’all!).
We want you to know YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!! And if you know this already, you CAN ENCOURAGE OTHERS that they can make a difference too!
